Office Manager
Hi! My name is Arelis. I was born in Cuba and came to the United States with my parents when I was nine. As a little girl, I always enjoyed helping people and making their lives better in any way possible. At the age of seventeen, I started working in the dental field. Throughout the years, I have gained great experience and have dedicated myself to helping others.
Working for Dr. Scerbo gives me the satisfaction of being part of a great team. I help patients with all their needs and try to make their dental experience as pleasant as possible. I have been fully trained to deal with various dental insurance plans enabling patients to understand their own insurance better. I look forward to helping others achieve their optimal smile.
Elizabeth
Dental Assistant
Elizabeth was born and raised in Lima, Peru where she graduated from Dental School in 2006.
After working for two years at a private practice in Lima, she came to the United States to further her professional education at New York University. In the fall, she will begin her specialty training in the field of endodontics. She is proud to be a part of the positive atmosphere at Florida Smiles Dental, where she learns from the experienced doctors with whom she works. Elizabeth enjoys socializing with the patients. She looks forward to her departure to Manhattan this fall and the beginning of her specialty training in endodontics at NYU School of Dentistry.
Eileen
Dental Hygienist
Hello, my name is Eileen. I am originally from Pennsylvania, but have lived in Michigan and Illinois before moving to Fort Lauderdale in 1967. I have been married for 35 years and have two grown, wonderful children.
Having degrees in both nursing and dental hygiene, I have been working as a hygienist for 32 years. For 26 of those years, I have been in this office. I have had the opportunity of knowing many of our patients for many years.
My commitment is to treat everyone I encounter with compassion, empathy and respect. I use my high quality skills to help each individual obtain optimal dental health. My goal is to create a professional space that keeps people coming back to maintain their smiles.
Working with Dr.Scerbo for the last two years has been great. He has implemented more ways to increase our quality of care with the latest advances in dentistry. He is highly skilled and qualified. Our staff is wonderful and we have a great time working together.
